Creating memorable photographs is my passion.

Whether it be capturing the loving gaze from a bride to her groom, creating a dramatic portrait in the studio or on location, or illustrating an idea with impact for a magazine article. All of these skills I exercise with the click of my shutter.

Photography has been my chosen career for the last 15 years. I developed my skills as a wedding photographer by assisting photographers whose work I admired. For 12 years now I have been photographing wedddings for my own clients.

Commercial Photography Experience:

• Assistant photographer to Michael Salas for Life Magazine 1987

• Assistant Photographer to Deborah Finegold of New York for promotional images for the movie "Drugstore Cowboy" - November 1988

• Photographer - Jacket photo of author Chuck Palahnuik for his book
"Fight Club" - September 1996

• Photographer - "Oregon Business Magazine" - 1993 through 1998

I have also worked as a free-lance photographer for many regional companies in the Northwest.

I balanced my BS in Education from the University of Missouri with many photography seminars and workshops. Most notably the Sante Fe workshop in September 1998 and the Denis Reggie Seminar on Wedding Photo Journalism in March 2000.
